Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 14, 2026. These terms explain how you may access and use Puppet 3D subscriptions, downloads, license validation, and related services.
Business and support
The Puppet 3D service is provided by Puppet3D, based in Peru. For product support, account questions, or legal notices, contact support@puppet3d.com.
Payments and checkout
When paid subscriptions are available, purchases may be processed by an authorized payment provider acting as reseller or merchant of record for those transactions. The provider shown at checkout will handle payment processing, taxes, invoicing, subscription billing where applicable, and payment-related buyer support for those orders.
That provider may appear on your receipt, invoice, bank statement, or payment confirmation. Puppet 3D may still provide product support for Puppet 3D software through support@puppet3d.com.
The service
Puppet 3D provides downloadable software extensions and workflow tools for SketchUp and related creative pipelines. A paid subscription gives access to the available Puppet 3D bundle, updates, and future included tools while the subscription remains active.
Puppet 3D is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Trimble, SketchUp, or their affiliates. SketchUp and related names are trademarks of their respective owners.
Accounts, subscriptions, and cancellation
To subscribe, download, or manage access, you may need an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. You can cancel your subscription through your account, through the links provided by your payment provider in receipts or subscription emails, or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period unless a refund or termination applies.
License and permitted use
Puppet 3D grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software for your own professional or personal work while your subscription is active and you comply with these terms.
You may not resell, sublicense, share, publish, distribute, rent, lease, or transfer Puppet 3D downloads, license tokens, account access, or subscription benefits. You may not attempt to bypass license checks, machine limits, security controls, or subscription validation.
Downloads, devices, and online validation
Puppet 3D downloads may include a license token tied to your account. The software may validate your subscription online and may register device information to prevent unauthorized sharing. Unless otherwise stated, one subscription may be used on up to two devices owned or controlled by the same subscriber.
Internet access may be required for activation, validation, downloads, account features, and continued access. If validation fails because the subscription is inactive, payment is overdue, the machine limit is exceeded, or the license has been revoked, the software may stop working.
Acceptable use
You must not use Puppet 3D for unlawful activity, abuse the service, interfere with our systems, reverse engineer the software except where prohibited by law, remove copyright notices, scrape or overload our services, or attempt to obtain unauthorized access to accounts, licenses, or backend systems.
Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Where your payment provider or applicable law gives you additional rights, those rights apply.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, remove, or replace features, downloads, compatibility targets, pricing, and documentation over time. We aim to provide reliable access, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, third-party outages, security events, or circumstances outside our control.
No professional guarantee
Puppet 3D tools are provided to assist creative and technical workflows. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, keeping backups of your SketchUp files and projects, and deciding whether the software is suitable for your work. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or compatible with every version, extension, model, operating system, or workflow.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, misuse licenses, initiate fraud or abuse, create security risk, or if required by law or by payment provider rules. Upon termination, your right to use the software and subscription benefits ends.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Puppet3D is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost projects, loss of data, business interruption, or replacement costs. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the website, account area, email, or checkout flow. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
